Meet the Authors of Prescient Sci-Fi

Jacob Foxx

Jacob Foxx is a regular contributor and author of two novels. His debut novel, The Fifth World was Prescient’s debut project as well. Foxx became a Trekkie at age 9, after watching a Star Trek: The Next Generation marathon. From that day on, he was a sci-fi fanatic. During college he began working on a fictional timeline stretching 500 years into the future. The timeline provided the foundation for his first two novels. He names Gene Roddenberry, Frank Herbert, H.G. Wells, and Michael Crichton as his top influences.

Foxx graduated from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago and currently works as a regulatory consultant for several biotech companies in Raleigh, North Carolina. Author's Website

Paulie Spiceflow

Paulie Spiceflow is a regular contributor and unbelievable smart ass. He prides himself on his excessive knowledge of movies, TV, books, internet memes, and pop cultural references. During college, he spent minimal hours studying but took full-advantage of the free internet and lack of bills to broaden his knowledge in numerous genres including spoof comedy, fantasy, Shakespeare, military history, zombies, and cartoons.

Currently, he tries to distract himself from his disappointment in Hollywood and big publishers with a boring day job, Netflix, and an Xbox.
